POEARTRY

NOCTURNAL GRACE

I long for seduction into your unknown,

As others endure their temporary deaths,

One thing us mortals cannot bear in your

presence, is to be alone.

Conceal our concrete madness

in your nothingness,

As we reveal to you our primal fears,

We have only each other to be scared of;

A flaw that predates thousands of years.

Evil uses your blanket cover

for it's darkest crimes,

All those myths  and tales

revolve around you,

Could they be just products of an

over active mind?

The others want to loose you in their

counterfeit sunshine,

Whilst I find solace in your silent embrace,

Your sensual darkness

is what I'm drawn into,

But still I find you a burden to face.

Let me dance with the vampires,

for I desire you as much as they,

I slip into your garments, and dissolve

invisibly into your beauty,

Whilst my eyelids are pressed shut,

you are airbrushed away,

But I know you will return,

as it is your duty.
